A Chest X ray takes a picture of the lungs, heart, bones, and blood
vessels of the chest, as well as abnormal findings such as fluid or masses. We are able to take your X ray
at our St. Marks office. An example of a normal chest X ray is shown below.

The X ray machine in our office is a simple, standard machine. You
will stand with your chest to the picture plate, while the technologist adjusts the settings and takes the X ray. We
will develop the film and review it with you.
