Peripheral Vascular Surgery

Sometime atherosclerosis blockages develop in the legs or arms, termed peripheral arterial disease, cannot be managed with medications or stenting.  These patients may be referred for peripheral bypass surgery.  Sometimes the peripheral arteries may become damaged after a procedure and need surgical repair. These procedures are perfomed by a vascular surgeon.
